Description
This performance uses spontaneous music creation and liquid light projection (The Cosmic Primordial Light Show) created by a diverse group of community members, to respond creatively to the wonders of the night sky and the fascination of recent astronomical discoveries.
Leading up to ARTx, POETRY, a new creative arts venture in Flagstaff, presented a program in selected Flagstaff school classrooms “Traveling the Universe, Weaving Science, Storytelling and Music.” Through these interactive presentations student participants were guided in responding to wonders of the night sky and recent astronomical discoveries through journaling, music making, and creative narratives, such as messages directed to possible inhabitants of exoplanets that could possibly host intelligent life.
Student’s creative contributions will be considered for inclusion during the performance of The Primordial Cosmic Light Show at Coconino Center for the Arts.
